Hartford Hospital is now seeking exemplary nurses in Perioperative Nursing in the Ortho/Neuro Department.

In our department you will find...

  • Two Total Joint rooms and an expanding Joint Replacement program
  • A room dedicated to Orthopedic trauma
  • An orthopedic spine room

In addition, we have two Neuro suites where a variety of neurosurgical procedures are performed, including:

  • Craniotomy for tumor, aneurysm etc.
  • Spinal procedures
  • Trauma cases

The Ortho/Neuro department is always on top of advancing technology to enhance delivery of patient care. New to department is a call team for both Neuro and Ortho.  The team is readily available to meet the needs of our Patients, Staff, and Physicians.

The Neuro/Ortho Cluster is a self-directed team that is afforded the freedom and accountability to have a say in departmental decisions!
