  • How many active staff have privileges at Hartford Hospital?
    There are currently 1,063 active staff with privileges at Hartford Hospital. CLICK HERE to query our online doctor database.
     
  • How and when does the Credentials Committee meet?
    The Credentials Committee meets on the first Monday of every month.
      
  • How long does the application/credentialling process take?
    For Medical Staff: Your privileges will be approved 90 days after receipt of the application.

    For Adjunct Staff: Your privileges will be approved 60 days after receipt of the application.

    We suggest you make an appointment for an interview with the Department Director while your application is in process.
     
  • How do I change my staff status (for example I am currently on the Active Staff and I want to transfer to the Courtesy Staff)?
    You need to contact the Director of the department to which you have privileges. 
     
  • How do I change (add/delete) my privileges?
    You need to contact the Director of the department to which you have privileges.
     
  • How do I go on LOA (leaave of absence)?
    You need to contact the Director of the department to which you have privileges.
     
  • Who needs to be notified of a change in address?
