Maria Johnson, M.D., has joined Hartford Hospital as a gastroenterologist. Her areas of specialty interest include women's gastrointestinal health, motility disorders, colon cancer screening and esophageal reflux.
Dr. Johnson is a medical school graduate of St. George's University- Grenada, West Indies. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Johnson completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Connecticut.
