Hartford Hospital General Practice Residency program can only accept foreign dental graduates who have completed an advance standing in a dental school in the United States or Canada.
Number of positions in GPR: Four
Earliest date applications will be accepted: August prior to the year requested
Closing date for applications: November 15th the year prior to requested appointment
Interview date: First week in December
Notification of applicant: Release of national matching program
(Hartford Hospital is a participant in the National Residency Matching Program)

Benefits
Stipend: $42,300 (2006-2007)
Housing: Ample apartment rentals in suburban towns outside the city of Hartford are available.
Insurance: Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Major Medical, or one of two optional HMO plans is offered. Maternity coverage is not included.
Vacation: Three weeks paid vacation.
On-call Frequency: Four times monthly including one weekend day. Resident must stay in-house for primary call.
Parking: Dental house staff will be provided with on-campus parking.
