What is CPE?CPE is an experience-based learning program which combines daily work in hospital ministry to patients, staff, and families with small group, intensive reflection and feedback, plus individual supervision.

The basic three-fold purpose of CPE at Hartford Hospital is:

  • To know and use theological reflection in the practice of ministry
  • To know and experience one's self as a pastoral person
