Get Fresh! Seymour Square Farm Stand

Hartford Hospital is helping the community Get Fresh  with the Seymour Square Farm Stand.

Held each year during the summer on the concrete plaza between Hartford Hospital's Conklin Building and Connecticut Children's Medical Center's Emergency Department entrance,the Seymour Square Farm Stand is hosted in partnership with Botticello Farms, Connecticut Children's Medical Center and Hartford Hospital.

Join us every Friday, 11 AM - 2 PM, July through early October.

The stand offers convenient access to fresh produce for the community, hospital staff, patients and visitors alike. In the past, the stand has featured: Corn, greenhouse tomatoes, peas, green beans, yellow and green squash, cucumbers, pickles, raspberries, and blueberries.

Other goodies...

Sleepy Moon soaps have been sold (with some of the best scents you've ever smelled!)

The Ladies of Levita Road have offered their specialty cheeses, delicious fresh milk, and cottage cheese.

Hurst Farms has provided strawberry jams, including strawberry/rhubarb and their famous strawberry/blueberry (goes great with cottage cheese!), as well as some wonderful specialty vinegars.

The Great Harvest Bread Company has provided delicious specialty breads, many of which included fresh CT-Grown products. They've also provided some of their homemade cookies.

Some specialty olive oil from the Olive Oil Factory, and a few other surprises, are usually included to tickle ones fancy!

The Seymour Square Farm Stand is WIC certified and coupons are accepted as a form of payment.
